Cu Chi Tunnels Half Day – Group Tour give you a chance to explore a gigantic underground tunnel system.
Cu Chi Tunnels are immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi district of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and are part of a much larger network of tunnels that underlie much of the country. With about 200 km in length, the tunnels system includes clinics, storage facilities, weapons factories, kitchen, warehouse, office, conference room, hospitals, and command centers. The Cu Chi tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War and were the Viet Cong’s base of operations for the Tet Offensive in 1968.

Tour itinerary:

• 7:30am – 8:00 am ( from 12:30-1:00pm if afternoon tour): Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city center, District 1 and start Cu Chi Tunnels Tour.
• If your hotel is not in the pick up area, please be at 112 Tran Hung Dao str to join the tour.
• Upon arriving at Cu Chi tunnels, you will learn more about the mystery of Cu Chi Tunnels by watching a documentary film. The video will partly show you how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time.
• Next, you will have a chance to know, see and discover the system of tunnels deep underground, can withstand the destructive power of the bomb attack from the US military. The air is taken into the tunnel through the vents. It includes 3 levels: from the ground to the first floor is 3m deep, next the second floor is deep 6m and the third floor is deeper than 12m. Tour guide will show how the tunnel works.
• Discover Hoang Cam smoke-less stove, secret hide-outs, fighting bunkers, dangerous booby traps and rice paper workshop
• Then, you will be served special tea and cassava which are guerrilla’s food during the war.
• You have a break time to relax or try shooting a variety of Vietnam War era weapons such as the M16 rifle or AK-47, as well as a light machine gun like the M60
• Finish the tour, the bus will take you back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city center.

• Transfer to visit The Reunification Palace: Independence Palace (formerly known as “palace Norodom”) is an architecture in Ho Chi Minh City ranked by the prime minister of Vietnam as a national monument. The work started on 02/23/1868 and completed in 1871. From 1887 – 1945, many French governor’s mansions were used as a place to live and work during the Indochina invasion.

• Visit Notre-Dame Cathedral– built between 1863 and 1880 by French colonists. This Cathedral was built after the occupation of Saigon with all costs and raw materials imported from France. It is one of HCMC’s architectural marvels and also one of the buildings that attract the most visitors in the city.
• Stop to visit Saigon Central Post Office: The Central Post Office was built by a famous French architect during 1886-1891. It is the busiest post office and a significant symbol of the city.
• Continue to visit War Remnants Museum: This museum was opened to public in 1975. It exhibits many photographs of the Vietnam War with many themes and American military equipment on display, including a tank, a helicopter with rocket launchers, a fighter plane, a single-seater attack aircraft and a 6,800kg conventional bomb. With a lot of lively and realistic images, this is one of the museums that attracts the most tourists in Ho Chi Minh city

Overview:

Monkey Island is a popular tourist destination located in the Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve, about 70 kilometers southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Tour itinerary:

• Our tour guide picks you up at your hotel and heads to Can Gio, otherwise known as “Monkey Island”.
• On arrival, we visited the mangrove forest to see over 1,000 monkeys living there. You also can feed and take photos with many monkeys surrounding and climbing on your shoulder.
• Continue with a short walk to alligator farm, where local people conserve many huge alligators from the “American war” and you can try “alligator fishing” (optional). Then take speed boats to “Sac” guerilla camp built in deep jungle. Today the camp has become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what jungle life in the war must have been like. 
• We will then stop at a local seafood market selling various kinds of fresh seafood regarding octopus, lobster, ray, etc and dried foods. There, enjoy a welcome drink (sugar cane juice) before having Vietnamese style lunch at a beach resort, where we are at leisure for swimming and sight-seeing.
• We drive another 2 hours back to Hồ Chí Minh city and drop you at your hotel or somewhere in District 1 on request. End of services.

Brief Program:

• The national park is a four-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City. After crossing the river, you’ll embark on a jungle walk to explore Nam Cat Tien’s diverse wildlife.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Cat Tien National Park

• You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 AM and begin a four-hour drive north to Nam Cat Tien National Park. Established in 1998, the park consists of two areas, Nam Cat Tien and Cat Loc, connected by the Dong Nai River and encompassing around 185,000 acres of evergreen rainforest teeming with diverse flora and fauna.
• Upon arriving at noon, you will be welcomed into the park by the Forest Floor Lodge staff and transported to the resort via electric car. After checking in, enjoy lunch at the lodge’s restaurant, which offers views of the river and jungle.
• At 2:00 PM, your guide will meet you at the reception for a walking tour to explore the jungle’s plant and animal life. You will then have free time to explore, bike, or relax. At 7:00 PM, you will take an electric car to the park’s central restaurant for dinner. Following dinner, a private jeep will take you on an hour-long animal watch before returning to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Cat Tien National Park – Ho Chi Minh City

• Wake up early to the sounds of the forest and enjoy breakfast before meeting your driver at 7:30 AM for a trip to Bau Sau, also known as Crocodile Lake. A 20-minute (10 km) jeep ride from the lodge will take you to the trekking point, where you’ll embark on a one-hour, 5 km trek.
• Bau Sau is a stunning lake surrounded by jungle and home to many crocodiles. You’ll board a boat and paddle around the lake for an hour, spotting birds, crocodiles, and wild lotus. Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch. At 2:00 PM, begin your journey back to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving at 6:00 PM.

• After lunch at a local eatery, we will proceed to the Cu Chi Tunnel, which gained fame in the 1960s for its significance in the VC’s control over a large rural region just 50km from the city.
• Dinner will be at a local Vietnamese restaurant.
• You will spend the night at your hotel.

DAY 3: MEKONG DELTA – DINNER ON SAIGON RIVER CRUISE (B, L, D)

• At around 8:00 AM, depart from Ho Chi Minh City and head to My Tho, enjoying a scenic drive along the National Highway lined with lush rice fields. Upon arrival in My Tho, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, then take a leisurely boat ride on the river, where you can see stilt houses, fruit plantations, and fishing villages along the banks.
• Continue your journey to An Khanh, a quieter spot in Ben Tre, where you’ll cruise on a hand-rowed sampan beneath the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals. Enjoy seasonal fruits and honey tea while listening to traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by locals.
• Lunch will be served at a local Vietnamese restaurant. Afterward, you can explore the village by bicycle. Around 5:00 PM, we will return to Saigon.
• Relax and prepare for dinner on the cruise.
• 7:00 PM We continue to Sai Gon River to have Dinner on the Cruise. For 1,5 hours along the Saigon River dinner is served with a five-course Vietnamese food. At the same time, you will also enjoy listening to traditional music and watching the beautiful lights of the city at night. Disembark the boat by 9:00 pm and transfer back to your hotel.
• Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH – VUNG TAU (B, L)

• Transfer to Vung Tau.
• Morning picks up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh, and depart for Vung Tau beachside city (about a 2-hour drive), a famous beach resort with long white sandy beaches and warm water all year round.
• Arrive at Vung Tau city, we first visit the landmarks including the Summer Palace of Emperor Bao Dai (White Palace), Christ Hill (St. Jacque Janerio), 18 meters high Goddess of Mercy, Thuy Van Beach, and Whale Temple dedicated to whales considered as the rescuing gods for Vietnamese fisherman in the east sea.
• Have lunch at a local restaurant and leisure time in the afternoon at the Beach. You can enjoy the beach, swim, or join in exciting water sports activities.
• Then head back to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 5: HO CHI MINH (B)
