Overview:
This tour shows you some cool things in Ninh Binh province. You’ll learn about Vietnam at the Great Wall and the area has pretty hills and fields that are fun to look at. Try special local foods too! One special place is Trang An, called “Ha Long Bay on land”. There, boats go between tall limestone rocks. It’s like floating between islands. You’ll see history, nice views, yummy food and rides on this tour.
Tour itinerary:
- 07:00-07:30 – Hotel pickup in Hanoi Old Quarter area. Brief breakfast stop (self-pay).
- 10:00-10:30 – Visit Hang Mua and climb 486 stone steps to the top, offering stunning views of the rice fields and Tam Coc area.
- 11:20-11:40 – After Hang Mua, we will go to the old capital called Hoa Lu. This place was the capital over 1000 years ago under early kings. You can learn history and also see beautiful scenery. We will visit two temples for King Dinh and King Le, built in the 17th century. They have very interesting carved wood and stone designs.
- 12:30-13:00 – Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant featuring traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
- 14:00-14:30 – Take a boat tour through the amazing area called Trang An. For about 2 hours you can see beautiful limestone caves and formations from the boat. You may also see some unusual shaped rocks and Le Le birds swimming for food along the boating way.
- 17:00-17:30 – Return bus ride to Hanoi.
- 19:00-19:30 – Arrival back in Hanoi, end of tour.
