Overview:

This tour shows you some cool things in Ninh Binh. You’ll learn about history at the Great Wall and see big limestone rocks from boats at Trang An, also called “Ha Long Bay on land”. The hills and valleys in Ninh Binh are very beautiful too. On this tour you can try special foods from the area. You’ll get to see historic sites, beautiful nature areas and local cuisine. It’s a fun way to explore some of what Ninh Binh has to offer like culture, scenery and food.

 

Tour itinerary:

  • 07:00-07:30 AM – Hotel pickup in Hanoi Old Quarter area. Brief breakfast stop (self-pay).
  • 09:00-09:30 AM – We will make a stop in the province of Ha Nam, which is around 1 hour north of Hanoi. Here we will spend 30 minutes allowing you to take a short breakfast break. Please note that any expenses incurred during this breakfast stop will need to be paid for by yourselves.
  • 10:00-10:30 AM – Visit the famous Bai Dinh Pagoda. Known as one of the largest pagodas in all of Southeast Asia, Bai Dinh holds many impressive records and historical landmarks within its complex. These include housing the longest Arhat corridor in Asia, the largest Buddha statue in Asia, and the largest bronze bell and drum found anywhere in Vietnam. Our guide will provide information about the pagoda’s rich history and architecture during the visit.
  • 12:00-12:30 PM – Having a buffet lunch with many special dishes in a local restaurant.
  • 01:00-01:30 PM – Take a scenic boat tour through the breathtaking Trang An Landscape Complex. You’ll spend around two hours discovering the beautiful caves and strangely shaped limestone formations from the water. You may also see some Le Le birds swimming for food along the boating way.
  • 03:30-04:00 PM – Tour guide will lead us up to visit Hang Mua Mountain. Here you can spend an hour climbing the 486 stone steps to reach the summit, which offers wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding scenic rice fields and Tam Coc area below.
  • 05:00-05:30 PM –  Getting back to the bus to go back to Hanoi.
  • 07:00-07:30 PM: Arrival in Hanoi and end the tour.
