The hills and valleys in Ninh Binh are very beautiful to look at. Try local foods to experience the regional cuisine. One popular attraction is Tam Coc, where you can ride a boat between tall limestone cliffs and rocks. Whether you like history, scenery or food, Ninh Binh has something for everyone to enjoy on a visit.
Tour itinerary:
- 7:00-7:30 AM – Hotel pickup in Hanoi Old Quarter area. Brief breakfast stop (self-pay).
- 10:00-10:30 AM – Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. Learn about the 10th century history of Vietnam under early kings. See two 17th century temples dedicated to Kings Dinh and Le, with intricately carved wood and stone.
- 12:00-12:30 PM – Local buffet lunch featuring regional specialties.
- 1:30-2:00 PM – Boat tour of stunning Tam Coc (“Three Caves”). Glide through Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba caves, admiring the natural limestone formations and cool fresh air.
- 4:30-5:00 PM – Return bus ride to Hanoi.
